Hugo the whale is wave surfing with his porpoise friend, Morty,  and having the time of their lives!

Hugo and Morty are beautifully made with wet and needle felting techniques. He is 20 x 9 x 13 inches as posed.

Gloriously textured, they are made of beautifully wet felted silks, Angelina, wool nepps, locks and finest merino which I make by hand, and then needle felt onto the core sculpture. Hugo’s eyes are hand made glass, his teeth are polymer. His porpoise friend is also wet felted from silver grey silks and merino, and glass eyes. Together they ride on felted waves in sea greens and Caribbean blues.

Hugo is felted over a wire armature and his tail and flukes can be gently articulated up or down and curled at the tips. His porpoise buddy can ride anywhere you choose!
